Fort Bliss is using new simulation technology to help teach soldiers in training. Fort Bliss has received gun simulators that resemble real guns. The bullets being fired are not real, but are shown hitting the targets on the video display monitors. They even received Hummer truck simulations which have the guns-man on top of the vehicle shooting at his targets while the display monitors show the vehicle is moving down actual roads in the particular area they are simulating.

A two-vehicle crash cut the power on Gateway Blvd. West. Two electric poles were broken down by two eighteen wheelers. The two vehicles has crashed together and slid into the poles, knocking the power out. The bill to repair the electric poles will go to the insurance of the semi company or the motorist himself. No serious injuries came from the crash, except some business had trouble with their work.
Business down Vicount lost power because of this accident. A worker for ‘Computer Experts’ explained that they could not confirm with clients for repairs to computers because they could not receive phone calls. The power was restored just an hour later.
